This whole process can happen in less than an hour and can save your countless hours of pain, or give you peace, happiness and serenity. Forgive and The Pain Will Go Away

You have no control over anyone else so cannot do anything to make them forgive you. However, you can release yourself from the past, live in the now and release the pain that not forgiving causes. The past is gone and cannot be changed well that is the subject of another article. It does not behoove us to live in the past or the future. We only have any control over living in the present. We cannot claim the present if we are still in the past. Two thoughts cannot occupy the same space at the same time. Unforgiveness is resistence to being in the present. It is the need for revenge or to hurt someone else like they hurt us. To forgive is to release all that anger and resistence. These emotions are blocks to us moving on. It does not effect the other person one way or another. Just because we forgive someone we still have the choice of whether to have them in or lives or no. Unforgiveness, anger, holds us to this other person as tightly as if we loved them. Perhaps we do love them and only are hurt at their actions. We still do not want to hold them to us. We wish to release ourselves give ourselves true freedom to move on. I truly believe that many of our ailments with our bodies are caused by unresolved situations or emotion. Resentment causes arthritis, stiffness in the joints us to be unflexible. So if you are trying to grow spiritually, enjoy your time here by being really healthy work on forgiveness. Whatever thoughts we are holding onto tightly become our future so when we do not forgive then we are creating our past into our future. How can we expect new results from old action. Forgiveness affirmations are just one of the many tools we all have at our disposal to heal ourselves and heal all things that no longer serve us. They may have served us at one time but certainly these negative emotions and feelings do not serve the spiritual person you are developing in the here iand now. The important thing to remember is that we are responibile for what happens in our lives. We have been given the power of freedom by taking this responsibility. So when you use tools like prayer and affirmations to change how you feel you are taking responsibility for your life. When you react it is you that is making that choice too. We cannot feel the good stuff when we are cut off from our emotion. It may stop the pain but it stops all emotion. Emotion is the motion of life. So without feeling we do not move we are stuck. Forgiving and accepting are not the same things. The act of forgiveness takes place in our minds eye and heart. It nothing to do with the other person. It is a self-lioving act that stops the pain. Forgiving does not mean accepting. The act of forgiveness takes place in our mind. It has nothing to do with “them”. We are no longer stuck in the past when we forgive. These affirmations can help you to forgive so move on into a more positive place in life. Forgiveness Affirmations The past is gone. I live only in the present. I release the past and set it free. I design my future in the now. I have no responibility for anyone but me I change me by changing my thoughts. II realize that my parents gave me all the love that they knew how to give. I forgive them for passing on any negative thinking. I forgive myself for judging their behavior. I forgive myself for not being all I want to be now. I will be all those things that I yearn for in time. As I truly forgive myself I find I am less apt to judge others. As I learn how to forgive life becomes so much easier. Each day is filled with opportunities for me to grow spiritually. I let go of everyone in the past, I say, I love you, I forgive you, I release you. As I see myself as a human being doing the best I can, I see others in that way and have understanding and compassion. I am able to forgive, let go and let God. For example I was having numbness in my legs and feet and a lot of pain. Doctors could not tell me what was wrong. It helps one stay in their body when they would rather escape what is going on in this earthly plane. I wear a ring made of Hematite or a bracelet when I have some trial or ordeal to go through that I would rather not have to face. Change From the Inside Out

When one works on their inner most beliefs then you can change the way you think about things your actions in the outer world also change with the thoughts. These changes will be reflected in your outer world. Where the thought flows is where the action goes, so to speak. If one can tell oneself a new story about how they think and feel about things your life can really begin to change. It all starts with visualizing your life in a different way. The imagination does not know that the thoughts are not real. So it begins to act on these thoughts just like they were a really happening in the real world. We get what we think both negative and positive. If you are a worrier and are afraid to take risks you tend not to want to change things. You want routine it implies that you can control your world; which is a fallacy as the only thing that is for sure in life, is change. Thinking you can control the world is something that just is not true, so the first thing you have to accept is that you do not have control over anything except your personal world. Then you only have control of how you think. Thinking is what creates the negative and positive things that happen in your world. People want to change their world but they do not want to take the risks that it takes to change, so they stay stuck. When you cannot imagine a whole new world for yourself you just keep repeating the same visualizations, of your world as you know it. So things stay the same. Interestingly enough people except a different outcome from repeating the same behavior. If you really realized how much your inner thinking creates your outside world would you start to change your thinking to create the kind of the world that you really want? If you began to change your thinking just a little bit each day and began to see the results in your outer world if you supported the new way of thinking it would sink into your subconscious mind and change your outer world. The new way of thinking brings on new hopes and dreams, which then bring on new goals. Your perspective of the world begins to change. The inner thinking would begin to seep through to the outer world. As your thinking changes your behavior and feeling change. The way you act toward others change, the decisions you make begin to change. You suddenly have more energy and ambition to meet your new goals. You suddenly see life filled with possibilities instead of fearing change. Be a people watcher. Whenever we find a trait or behavior we do not like we need to look at ourselves to see it we behave in this way. Usaually you will find that a behavior that really bugs us is one that we demonstrate on a regular basis. What is the old saying about pointing one finger at someone else and we have two finges pointing back at ourselves. So what do we do if we find objectable behavior in ourself? A couple things that you can do. You can visualize yourself behaving in a different way. You can use affirmations to support the change. You can practice in your mind behaving in a different way, more pleasing to your self esteem. Think how you will feel when you have conquered this behavior that no longer serves you. Think often that you can change this behavror. Post affirmations where you will see them often on the change you want to make. Put them places like I have a bulletin board next to my bed so it is the last thing I see at night and the first thing I see in the morning. On the bathroom mirror, is another good place or the dash of your car. See yourself using your will power and self discipline. Practice in low level risk situations with people that are not too important to you behaving in a new way. For example when I was trying to learn to be assertive, I practiced with store clerks. They were less risk than my family members. Every time you have even a small victory reward yourself. If you do not do too well at first cut yourself some slack. You will get better with practice. Remember it all happens from the inside out. Change the way you think and change your world.
